Environment staff join Ministry in clean up

NUKU’ALOFA-February 21: 9.48am (R2R Media): Staff of the Department of Environment here in Nuku’alofa join their fellow staff from the Ministry of Meteorology, Energy, Information, Disaster Management, Environment, Climate Change and Communications (MEIDECC) in the weekly clean-up campaign launched by Government early this year.

The MEIDECC team works with the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tonga Communication Corporation (TCC) in cleaning up the stretch between the Tanoa Dateline International Hotel and TCC along the Vuna Road waterfront in Fasi.

Despite the rain in the capital city over the last two weeks MEIDECC were still able to join the clean-up.
