The plant seedlings will be distributed amongst the villagers and they will take charge of planting them around the village compound and lots.

As part of the project, a team from the Forestry Department will visit the village to check on the plants later this year and also monitor the project.

The re-planting programme is part of the R2R project’s drive to replace plants that have died around the Fanga’uta area and also bring back plants that no longer live in the area.
