
Nuku’alofa – March 10, 2020: 10.15am (Enviro News): A water quality survey was done on ‘Atata Island for ground water lens on Thursday, March 5.
It was a collaboration with MECA, a new environmental NGO, with personnel from the University of Canterbury and the Department of Environment.
The survey results will help in identifying spots that could be drilled to help detect possible of ground water on the island.

Further collaboration will be done with the Natural Resources division of the Ministry of Lands, Survey and Natural Resources and the next survey to be done on March 28.
The Environment team consisted of Mr Penikoni Aleaamotua and Mr Brian Fusimalohi.
