Planning and retreat for Department

Nuku’alofa – January 18, 2021: 10.20am (Enviro News): The Director and Management of the Environment Department met at the Heilala Lodge in Ha’atafu last Friday (January 15, 2021) to finalize work plans for 2021.

Led by the Director, Mts Atelaite Lupe Matoto, the management team went through plans for all the different divisions within the department.

That in included looking at budgets for each programs.

Mrs Matoto said the plans will be taken to the Ministry of MEIDECC Planning meeting on January 21, 2021.

“We have a busy year ahead of us and a number of initiatives that we want to implement this year and we will be taking it to the MEIDECC meeting to finalize,” the Director said.

Management and staff also used the opportunity to have a department retreat, with family members.
