Terrestrial team continue with mangroves work

Nuku’alofa – August 20, 2021: 10.45am (Enviro News): The Environment Department’s Terrestrial Team are continuing with work focused on sustaining mangroves in the Kingdom.

Doing monitoring work while at the same time getting ready for the development of a second nursery and the proposed national park at Popua has kept the Terrestrial team busy.

The team visited the Ha’asini community park where plant seedlings during the 2021 National Environment week.

They also visited the Popua nurseries and also started working on clearing the proposed new sites.
